  5. Ride's broken? Ticket's spent anyway.
  6. Last ticket on the roll buys the same ride as the first one did.

1962 Booth opens. Ferris wheel out front, tickets a quarter, printed orange.
1988 The wheel gets replaced by a log flume that turns out to be a ramp with a hose on it.
2011 Rides hauled off overnight. Booth opens the next morning at the usual hour anyway.
2024 Same booth, same window, same forty tickets, torn one at a time, rides or no rides.
